How We Can Help

Legal Services

If your child is in public school—or should be—we help you navigate special education law and get your child what they actually need.

Document Review & Consultation. Before your IEP meeting, you need to know: Is the assessment plan right? Will/does the IEP address your child's real needs? What should you push back on? We review your documents, identify gaps, and advise you on next steps. You walk into that meeting informed and prepared.

IEP Meeting Advocacy. Sometimes you need someone at the table who knows special education law and knows how to push back when the school's offer falls short. We attend IEP meetings alongside you, ask the right questions, and make sure your child's needs are actually being addressed.

Private School Reimbursement. If you've placed your child in private school because the public school failed to meet their needs, you may be entitled to reimbursement from the district. We evaluate whether you have a claim, help you build your case, and pursue reimbursement through due process.

Due Process Representation. When collaboration isn't working and the school won't budge, formal legal action may be necessary. We handle due process complaints and litigation to get your child the services they're entitled to.

Flexible engagement. Some parents need just one hour of advice. Others need us present at a critical meeting. Some need full legal representation. We work around your timeline and your budget - you're not locked into anything you don't need.

Consulting Services

Not every child needs special education services, and not every parent needs a lawyer. But many parents need help building the right support system.

If your child attends private school, isn't formally identified for special education, or has needs that require coordinated support outside the public school system, we help you figure out the right path forward. This means identifying what your child actually needs (tutoring? speech therapy? occupational therapy? educational coaching?), finding the assessors and providers who can deliver on those needs, and creating a coordinated plan that brings everything together.

Not Sure What You Need?

Many parents don't know when they need legal representation, consulting support, or just a second opinion. The good news: a quick conversation can clarify that.

Book a free initial consultation to talk through your situation. We'll help you figure out exactly what your child needs and how we can help you get it.
